Using OneLogin for Veelo

Veelo offers a SAML-based Single Sign-on (SSO) service, which allows users to use their organization's credentials to access Veelo. This way, there's only one username/password to remember, saving them time and making their sign-in experiences much easier.

This article describes how you can set up SSO for Veelo using OneLogin as the identity provider (IDP).

Key Features
  • Use OneLogin to sign into Veelo
  • Reduce security threats through password breaches and credential theft
  • Centralized user, password and authorization management

Step by Step

  1. Create a new SAML app using the SAML test connector in OneLogin. For more detailed instructions, please refer to OneLogin's help documentation.
  2. Fill out the following values in the OneLogin Configurations area:
    1. The ACS (Consumer) Validator needs to be set to ^https://[yourdomain]$
    2. The Audience, Recipient and ACS (Consumer) URL needs to be https://[yourdomain]
  3. In the SSO area, copy the following information and email it to
    1. Issuer URL
    2. SAML 2.0 Endpoint (HTTP)
    3. X.509 Certificate
  4. Save the app. Your customer success manager will contact you when the connection is ready to be tested and verified. Once the connection has been verified, OneLogin will be integrated with your Veelo sign-in page.
