How do I add a course session to a curriculum?

Curriculums in Brainshark allow Learning authors to group together courses for their students to take. Course sessions can also be added to a curriculum.

To add a course session to a new curriculum:

  1. Navigate to the Learning tab
  2. Select Authoring
  3. In the drop-down menu, click Create Curriculum
  4. On the curriculum properties tab, enter the name and choose a folder
  5. Fill out the rest field of the Curriculum properties tab as needed. 
  6. Click the Courses tab, then click Add Courses. A separate search page will open where you can search via course ID or course title. At this time, you cannot locate Course Sessions by folder.
  7. Check the box next to the titles of the courses to add, and click Submit.
  8. Click Submit on the Courses tab of the Curriculum Details page to save your changes.

To add a course session to an existing curriculum:

  1. Navigate to the Learning tab
  2. Select Authoring
  3. Select My Courses and Curriculums from the drop-down menu.
  4. Find your curriculum in the list and click the 'three dots menu' in the Actions column.
  5. From the drop-down menu, select Edit Curriculum.
  6. Click the Courses tab, then click Add Courses. A separate search page will open where you can search via course ID or course title. At this time, you cannot locate Course Sessions by folder.
  7. Check the box next to the titles of the courses to add, and click Submit.
  8. Click Submit on the Courses tab of the Curriculum Details page to save your changes.
