When uploading your PowerPoint presentation into Brainshark, your presentation will be converted into a format that allows users to view the presentation in their web browser.
Brainshark supports all fonts in the Windows 8 Font List. For more details on which specific fonts are supported, click the link to view the Windows 8 Font List.
If Brainshark does not support a font you would like to use, as a quick workaround you can embed the font in your PowerPoint prior to upload.
To embed a font in PowerPoint you can follow the steps below.
- Launch the PowerPoint file.
- Select the File tab.
- Select Options from the drop down menu.
- A window will populate. Select the Save Tab.
- Under the Preserve fidelity when sharing this presentation header select Embed fonts in the file.
- Press OK.
- Ensure to Save your PowerPoint changes after pressing the OK button.
Please note:
- Unsupported fonts may become distorted after upload to Brainshark. The Brainshark system could automatically replace them with supported versions. This may change the size of the text or positioning.
- Embedding fonts may impact or limit use of parts of the Brainshark product.
- If embedding only the characters used in the presentation does not function successfully, we would recommend to try the other setting to embed All characters. (Image below)
